By placing an order, requesting a quotation or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
2. Quotations
All quotations are provided without obligation and are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated. Prices may change if the specification or artwork requirements are amended after a quotation has been issued.
3. Orders
Orders are confirmed only once accepted by Magenta Print UK. We reserve the right to refuse any order that contains unlawful, offensive or copyrighted material without the appropriate permissions.
4. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, full payment is required before production begins. Design work may require a deposit before work commences.
5. Artwork
Customers are responsible for ensuring all supplied artwork is correct, including spelling, grammar, sizing, colours and contact information.
We recommend supplying print-ready PDF files in CMYK colour format with the correct bleed and safe area.
Magenta Print UK is not responsible for errors contained within customer-supplied artwork once approved.
6. Artwork Approval
Where a proof is provided, it is the Customer’s responsibility to carefully review and approve all artwork before production.
Approval confirms acceptance of the design, including spelling, layout, colours and all content. Any errors identified after approval may require a chargeable reprint.
7. Colour Variation
Colours displayed on computer monitors, phones and tablets may differ from the final printed product.
Slight colour variations between print runs, paper stocks and production methods are normal within the printing industry and shall not be considered a defect.
8. Print Tolerances
Minor variations in trimming (up to approximately 2mm), folding, creasing, finishing and colour are industry standard and do not constitute faulty goods.
Paper shade, texture and thickness may vary slightly between manufacturers and production batches.
9. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Magenta Print UK shall not be liable for delays caused by couriers, adverse weather, industrial action or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order upon receipt.
Any shortages, damages or production issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and, where requested, supported by photographs.
Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
11. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before production begins.
Once artwork has been approved or production has started, cancellation may not be possible as products are manufactured specifically to your requirements.
Where cancellation is accepted after work has commenced, reasonable charges may apply for work completed and materials purchased.
12. Graphic Design Services
Our standard graphic design service includes up to three rounds of revisions.
Additional revisions or significant changes requested after approval may incur an additional charge.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, editable source files remain the property of Magenta Print UK.
13. Copyright
By submitting artwork, images or logos, you confirm that you own the necessary rights or have permission to use them.
Magenta Print UK accepts no responsibility for copyright or trademark infringement resulting from customer-supplied content.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magenta Print UK’s liability shall be limited to the value of the relevant order.
We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business interruption or missed deadlines arising from delayed delivery or customer-approved artwork.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
15. Refunds and Returns
All products supplied by Magenta Print UK are custom-made and manufactured to the Customer’s individual specifications. For this reason, once production has commenced, orders cannot usually be cancelled, returned or refunded.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:
Change of mind after an order has been confirmed.
Customer-approved artwork containing spelling, grammatical, layout or design errors.
Colour variations that fall within normal commercial printing tolerances.
Incorrect artwork, images or information supplied by the Customer.
Delays caused by courier services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Minor variations in trimming, folding, finishing or paper characteristics that are consistent with accepted commercial printing standards.
If you believe your order has been produced incorrectly, is damaged on arrival or is not in accordance with the agreed specification, you must notify Magenta Print UK within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs together with a description of the issue.
